Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
This policy is part of the WoodX Terms of Service. It explains what you may and may not do with WoodX, so the people you reach can trust what you send. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, write to legal@woodx.live before you send it.
Consent and opt outs
- Send email and texts only to people who gave the consent the law requires for that channel and that kind of message.
- Do not text purchased or rented consumer lists for marketing without prior express written consent.
- Honor every opt out. Do not work around STOP replies, unsubscribe links, the suppression list, or Do Not Call entries.
- Identify yourself in every message, and include the disclaimers that apply, such as paid for by notices.
Voter data
- Use voter files only for political and election purposes allowed by the state that provided them.
- Never sell, rent, or give away voter data, or use it to market products or services.
- Delete voter data when your campaign no longer needs it, or when state law requires.
Elections
- Do not send false or misleading information about when, where, or how to vote, or about who is eligible.
- Do not intimidate or discourage anyone from voting or registering.
Content
- No harassment, threats, hate, or content that sexualizes minors.
- Do not impersonate a person, campaign, government office, or business.
- Do not send malware, phishing, or deceptive links.
- Use only images and data you have the right to use, and keep the credit lines that licenses require.
The service
- Do not try to get around sending limits, rate limits, or security checks, or access another workspace's data.
- Do not resell WoodX or use it to build a competing product.
Enforcement
We may pause sending, remove content, or suspend a workspace that breaks this policy or puts recipients, carriers, or the service at risk. When we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
