Privacy Policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
WoodX helps organizations communicate with the people they serve. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to privacy@woodx.live.
Information we collect
- Account details you give us, such as your name, email address, and organization.
- Content your organization uploads, such as contact lists, addresses, designs, and scheduled posts.
- Usage and device information needed to keep the service secure and working, such as log records and browser type.
Messages are encrypted
Direct messages and group channels in WoodX are encrypted on the sender's device and decrypted on the recipient's device. We store only the encrypted form and cannot read it.
How we use information
- To provide the service, including sending the email and text messages your organization schedules.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
- To support you when you contact us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your contact lists for our own marketing.
Text messaging
Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Recipients can reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Data your organization brings
Organizations can import voter files, list vendor exports, and CRM records, and connect services such as list providers, design apps, and social networks. That data belongs to the organization, is used only to provide WoodX to it, and is never combined across organizations. Voter data is used only for political and election purposes as state law allows.
Service providers
We use trusted providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, and text delivery. They process information only on our instructions and only as needed to run the service.
Your choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your account information at any time from Settings, or by contacting us. Organizations control the contact data they upload and can export or delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell account owners before the change takes effect.
