Bring your own Twilio, Telnyx, or Android phone

If you already text through another service, connect it in Phone, Numbers, instead of buying a number from WoodX.

Twilio or Telnyx

1. Choose Connect your own account and pick Twilio or Telnyx.
2. Paste the keys from that account. They are checked, encrypted, and only ever sent to that provider.
3. Pick which of your numbers WoodX should use.

Replies and delivery updates flow back to WoodX automatically.

Your own Android phone

Pair an Android phone with the free, open source SMS Gateway app and texts go out from that phone's own number.

1. Install SMS Gateway on the phone.
2. In Phone, Numbers, choose Pair an Android phone and scan the QR code with the app.
3. Keep the phone charged and online while you send.

Texts go out on that phone's own plan, so WoodX adds no per text cost. This is a good fit for small lists. Carriers limit how fast one phone can send, so use a WoodX number or a provider account for larger sends.
