Connect an email sender
Send campaigns as yourself from Gmail or Microsoft 365, or through SMTP or a sending service.
Open Email senders and choose Add a sender. You can connect several, and WoodX spreads big sends across them.
Your own mailbox
- Gmail or Google Workspace: sign in with Google and approve. Campaigns go out from your own address.
- Microsoft 365 or Outlook: sign in with Microsoft and approve. Your Microsoft 365 admin may need to approve WoodX for your organization the first time.
Sent campaign mail does not fill your Sent folder.
Any SMTP server
Choose Other SMTP and enter the host name, port (465 or 587), username, and password or app password. WoodX sends a short test to the from address to confirm the login works before saving.
A sending service
Paste an API key for Amazon SES, Resend, Postmark, or SendGrid. These are built for large sends, and WoodX reads your real daily quota where the service allows it.
Picking a sender
The campaign composer picks the best connected sender for the size of your audience and warns you before a send would go over a sender's daily limit. When one sender reaches its limit, WoodX rotates to the next. Pause, resume, send a test, or remove a sender from its menu. Keys and passwords are encrypted and only used to send.
Account email (sign in links, password resets, invites, and support replies) is sent separately by WoodX and never goes through your senders.
