Send a mass text

Start a text campaign from Campaigns, New campaign, Text message, or from Phone, Compose.

The composer

• Write your text with merge fields like {first_name}. WoodX fills them in for each person.
• The counter shows how many segments the text uses. Standard characters fit 160 per segment; emoji or special characters use the shorter Unicode limit of 70.
• A phone preview shows exactly what people will see, including the opt out line WoodX adds.
• The cost estimate multiplies segments by recipients before you send.
• Save texts you use often as templates in Phone, Templates, and start from one any time.

Sending

Send now or schedule it. Texts never go out during quiet hours in the recipient's time zone (8am to 9pm by default); anything that would land outside that window waits until morning.

Until a number is connected, text campaigns run as a dry run.
